Two More Bat Pats Receive Awards

The Mid-South Conference has announced the 2010 Rawlings Gold Glove Team for the conference. St. Catharine College had their middle infield, junior shortstop Ryan Mangione and senior second baseman Justin Witt, named to the team. Both led the MSC in fielding percentage at those positions.

They helped the Patriots to a 36-22 record and an appearance in the MSC Final Four. They also anchored a school record defense that led the MSC with a .960 fielding percentage.

The Mid-South Rawlings Gold Glove Team will be sent to the NAIA national office and a Rawlings Gold Glove Team will be picked from teams across the country.
