Baseball Adds Five Transfers for 2013

The Patriot Baseball staff has announced the addition of five more players to the SC roster.  All five players are transfers from the west coast and all were named to their respective All Conference teams.

"We are getting better," noted Patriot skipper Luther Bramblett.  "We have addressed our needs and have added depth with quality players.  Coach Davis continues to bring in good players and we are both excited to see how these guys do."

These players join four other juco transfers, the latest Ty Broady from Rend Lake, Dominique Guevara from Oxnard and Victor Serna and Agustin Lopez, both from Southwestern.  Signee Hector Montes from Southwestern was drafted in the 33rd round by Tampa Bay and has signed with the Rays.  "We hated losing Montes, but it was the best decision for him and his family.  It says however, that we are signing some pretty good talent!"
