McKinley Signs with St. Catharine

Amanda McKinley became the latest recruit to join the St. Catharine Women's Soccer team when she signed her NAIA scholarship contract on Saturday.

Amanda hails from Brighton, Tennessee and is the daughter of Linda and Jimmy McKinley. Amanda played mostly outside midfield for Coach Sharri Garrett at Brighton High School.  As a sophomore she was named Most Improved Player and as a senior she won the team Sportsmanship Award.  Amanda plans to major in Sonography at St. Catharine.

"Amanda is a solid player with good speed and a good cross.  She is good at getting out wide during the game and will bring us additional depth and competition for the outside midfield positions," noted Patriot Coach Paul Patton.  "I am excited about Amanda joining our program and being a part of a strong recruiting class.  I expect she will be a great asset to the team this fall."
