Reserves Tie Lindsey Wilson Twice

Ties Give the Women's Soccer Program an Overall Six Game Unbeaten Streak

After starting the season with a 5-0 loss to Cincinnati State Community and Technical College, the Women's Soccer Reserve Squad has been showing remarkable improvement.

The initial loss was followed by a 2-0 loss at Bethel College, then two draws versus Lindsey Wilson College. The first, a 0-0 draw, was a match played on September 16 at Lindsey Wilson College.  The highlight of the match came when Patriot Goalkeeper Lauren Lee made a spectacular one-on-one save against an onrushing Lindsey Wilson attacker late in the second half to preserve the shutout.

The second, a match played on the Barber Soccer field at the St. Catharine College campus, ended in a 2-2 tie with goals by Mary Ezaizat and Samantha Osborn.

The two ties bring the reserve squad record to 0-2-2 with an upcoming match at Elizabethtown Community and Technical College (ECTC) on Saturday, October 5th. The two ties also extend the Women's Soccer Program's overall unbeaten streak to 6 matches.
