Lady Patriots Earn All Conference Honors

On the eve of the conference semi-final, the Mid-South Conference released the rosters of the All Mid-South Conference Teams.

Just as the Patriots were preparing for quite possibly the biggest game of their season, the Mid-South Conference released the rosters of the first and second All Mid-South Conference teams. Much to the delight of the Patriots and Head Coach Paul Patton, four of the Lady Patriots made All Mid-South Conference Second Team roster. Macy Higdon (Elizabethtown, Ky.) was the first name released and received the honor for leading the team in goals scored on the year with 12 on 26 shots on goal. Next for the Patriots, Chelsey Landrum (Independence, Ky.) scored a roster spot for her eight goals and six assists. Chelsey’s highlight came with the winning goal against the Rio Grande Red Storm in the opening round of the conference tournament. Rounding out the offense for the Patriots was none other than Courtney Hagedorn (Highland Heights, Ky.) for her five goals and .217 scoring average. On the defensive side of the ball Adrienne Bishop (LaGrange, Ky.) scored a spot on the roster for her ability to challenge every ball.

The Patriots will square off in the semi-final round of the conference tournament today at Lindsey Wilson against the Cumberland University Bulldogs at 1 PM.
