Patriots use Larue County Pipeline to Snag Carmon

The St. Catharine wrestlers added another name to their roster with the signing of Brian “B.J.” Carmon.

The St. Catharine wrestling coaches used their pipeline to Larue County to snag B.J. Carmon for the 2014 season. Carmon will be in familiar territory wrestling for his former high school coach Gary Canter, now the assistant at St. Catharine. “Carmon is a really talented kid and could become an All-American in the 197 pound weight class” says Canter. Carmon, a 2013 graduate of Larue County, scored top five finishes in the Kentucky State finals two years in a row and one top 10 finish in the 285 pound weight class.

Carmon will join an exciting class of wrestlers beginning in August for the inaugural season of Patriot wrestling.
