Lady Alley Pats Prepare for USBC Sectionals

The St. Catharine Lady “Alley Pats” will head to the United States Bowling Congress (USBC) sectional qualifier in Smyrna, Tennessee this weekend. The St. Catharine Lady Patriots will head to their version of the national tournament this weekend, when they head to the Volunteer state to battle for a berth in the Intercollegiate Team Championship in Reno, Nevada. In order to advance to Reno the Lady Patriots will need to snag a top four finish and will have to battle steep competition; the Lady Patriots will square off against 17 competitors, including Bellarmine University, Campbellsville University, Morehead State University, Florida State University, and many more. “Our team is confident in our ability to succeed” said Head Coach Larry Luvisi. “We have beaten several of these squads this year and were able to tie Campbellsville in the conference standings. If we pull together as a team, we have a great chance at making a run.” The Lady Patriots will kick things off in Smyrna on Friday March 14th, when they begin individual play at 3:30 PM CST. The Patriots will begin team play on Saturday for a chance at a sectional championship.
