Anderson County High School Girls Soccer Standout, Carrie Isaacs will play her collegiate soccer with St. Catharine College.  She signed her NAIA Scholarship papers in a ceremony at Anderson County High School on Monday.

At Anderson County, Carrie played primarily Defender for Jason Earnest's Lady Bearcats squad that were 30th District Runner-up and made it to the 8th Region Tournament in 2013.  At the signing, Coach Earnest commented, "Carrie exemplifies the words, Outstanding Student Athlete."

During Carrie's soccer career at Anderson County she earned many accolades, including:  All-District in the 2012 and 2013 seasons, All Region in 2013, Anderson County Most Valuable Player in 2012 and 2013, Anderson County Most Valuable Defender in 2013, and Anderson County Varsity Soccer Captain in 2013.

Not only is she a standout on the soccer field, but she is accomplished in the classroom as well.  She is a mainstay on the Anderson County High School Academic Excellence list (3.5 or higher out of 4.0 GPA), a member of the National Beta Club and the Spanish Honor Society, as well as being Class Secretary in the 2011-12 school year.

Carrie plans to study Nursing at St. Catharine with a goal of graduating and attending medical school to become an anesthesiologist.
