The St. Catharine Patriots were flying high on Tuesday after defeating in-state rival Asbury University 5-4.

The Patriots continued their success during number two doubles as Felipe Barrientoes (Cali, Columbia) and Ivan Kerkoc-Portillo (Spain) pounded Marger and Gibson 8-2.

With the Patriots leading 2-1 after doubles action Ethan Rowton continued his winning ways in number two doubles defeating Veval 6-3 and 6-2. Rowton’s success was followed in number three doubles when Barrientoes put on a true display of athleticism to defeat Woods 6-0 and 6-0. In the number four spot, a much improved Tyler Glover (Lawrenceburg, Ky.) fell in a close match to Harris 7-5 and 6-1.
