Lady Alley Pats Charge Hard in Final Day of Tourney

After a grueling weekend of competition at the United States Bowling Congress (USBC) Intercollegiate Team Sectional, the Lady Alley Pats concluded their season with a leap in the final standings.

After being stuck in 13th and 14th place for the first rounds of the sectional tournament, the Lady Alley Pats made one last ditch effort in their final day of competition as they jumped to an 11th place finish. “Tiffany [Webb] (Louisville, Ky.) had a great tournament” said Head Coach Larry Luvisi. “She really helped spark this team on the final day.” The Lady Patriots finished just outside of a top 10 finish with a 64 game total of 11048. However, the Patriots defeated conference rival Campbellsville University in addition to NCAA Division 1 opponents Illinois State University and Morehead State University.

The Patriots fell just short of qualifying for the USBC National Tournament and will await the results of the NAIA National Tournament to decide their fate.
