Molinari Makes Three

On a huge recruiting day for St. Catharine College, Courtney Molinari became the third Defender to sign on with the Patriot Women's Soccer team in one day when she completed her NAIA scholarship contract Friday afternoon in a ceremony at the Butler High School Cafeteria.  It was also a big day for Butler High School, because three other soccer players from both the boys and girls Butler Soccer teams signed with colleges as well.

Courtney was a standout Defender for Coach Amber Mink's Lady Bears Soccer team at Butler .  Coach Mink, present for the signing commented, "I am so proud of Courtney.  She is a strong defender, has a good attitude, and has worked very hard for this.  Today is a great day for her and for Butler Girls Soccer.  Courtney is an example to the other players of the results of hard work and dedication."

Courtney plans to study Radiology at St. Catharine with a goal for graduating with a Bachelor of Science in Medical Imaging.

"It's a big day for Patriot Women's Soccer," noted Patriot Coach Patton.  "Courtney's signing caps it off in a great way.  She is a strong soccer player and I expect she will come in with a great attitude and work hard on the field and in the classroom.  Today is a great day to be a Patriot!"
