Coach Paul Patton is proud to announce the signing of Catherine Wibbels, a Goalkeeper and Defender from Shelby County High School.  Catie signed her NAIA scholarship contract on Tuesday at the high school.

Catie played Central Defender and Goalkeeper for Coach Joe Turner's Lady Rockets at Shelby County.  During her career she was a 4 year letter winner, she was named to the 8th Region All-Tournament team in 2014, and earned Most Valuable Player recognition her senior year.  Catie also played spring soccer on the Shelby Extreme for coach Tony Claspill.

Catie is also an excellent student.  She is a member of the Beta Club, National Honor Society, and is a mainstay on the A/B honor roll.  Catie also works with the Link Crew to mentor younger students and is the club president for the Health Occupation Students of America (HOSA).  While at St. Catharine, Catie plans to earn a Bachelor's of Science in Nursing and get a job and specialize in pediatric oncology.

At her signing, Catie thanked her parents, coaches, teachers and friends for their support.  She also noted, "I am very excited to be a Patriot and can't wait to begin the season.  Go Patriots!"
