Soccer Lands Kennesaw Mountain Standout

Vannah Moreland joins Women's Soccer team.

Savannah Moreland, a standout striker/midfielder from Kennesaw Mountain High School has signed on with the St. Catharine Women's Soccer team.  Vannah signed her NAIA scholarship contract at the high school on Wednesday.

Vannah has been a mainstay for Coach Patrick Fox's Kennesaw Mountain Mustang Soccer team and earned recognition as the team's Most Valuable Player in 2013.  Vannah also plays for Coach Matt Dale at the Southern Soccer Academy.  In addition to Coach Dale's team, she has also represented Southern Soccer Academy as a guest player on other squads at tournaments such as the Germantown Invitational Tournament and the Disney Soccer Showcase.

In addition to her soccer experience, Vannah is a strong student at Kennesaw Mountain High School earning Academic Honors all four years and maintaining a 3.6 GPA.  Vannah will study Criminal Justice at St. Catharine with a goal of graduating in the top 10 percent of her class.

Coach Patton commented, "I am very excited to add Vannah to this recruiting class!  She will make an immediate impact on our team and her academic record speaks for itself."
