Baseball Loses Games - Moves Viterbo DH to Knoxville

The Patriots continue to lose, not games played, but games to the weather. This week, four more games fall due to the weather and their home Viterbo University series has been moved and shortened.

After losing to 3-game Asbury University series to poor field conditions this mid-week, St. Catharine (5-5) will now host Viterbo (0-0) for a DH at Grace Christian Academy in Knoxville, TN on Sunday starting at 2:00. Grace has a turf infield and is in good shape after the recent winter storm that crushed the Midwest.

"It's been a battle with this weather," stated Luther Bramblett. "But, we're fortunate to have AD Mike Doig and Grace for letting us play some games there.  The weather looks to be warming up and we hope to open at home this week."

The V-Hawks look to open their season with the Patriots.  Viterbo went to the NAIA Opening Round last year and are coming off a 34-20 record in 2014.
