Five minutes later the Patriots doubled their lead in the sixth minute. Miller-Riney was once again the recipient of a great pass from Shelby Rush. Miller-Riney was able to breakaway and slide the ball past the keeper and into the back of the net.

St. Catharine had another opportunity to add to their lead in the 19th minute. After a foul occurred in the box, Shelby Rush stepped up to take the penalty kick, but the ball sailed just inches over the goal. The score would remain 3-0 at halftime in favor of the home team.

After many missed chances to open the second half the Patriots got back to their scoring ways in the 77th minute. This time it was Vannah Moreland who collected her 11th goal of the season.
