Courtney Webb Signs With Women's Soccer

Courtney Webb, a senior defender from Bullitt Central High School, signed to play women's soccer with St. Catharine College on Wednesday. Courtney played right defender for Coach Neal Cox's Lady Cougar soccer team. St. Catharine Coach Paul Patton sees her playing a similar role for the Patriots. "Courtney should develop into a strong defender for our program. She has all the tools, and I think she will progress quickly competing against tough competition on a daily basis," Patton commented. " I am excited to have her on the team and I think she will be a good fit with the college and represent us well."

At Bullitt Central, Webb was team captain, earned All District honors and the Best Defender award in 2007. She also played softball at Bullit Central since 7th grade and earned All-District Softball honors as a senior. She plans to study Nursing at St. Catharine.
