Paris High Goalkeeper Signs With Patriots

Tuesday, February 3 - Paris High School senior goalkeeper, Lauren Casher, signed to play soccer at St. Catharine College in a ceremony at Paris High today. Lauren, daughter of Bob and Martha Casher played 4 seasons between the pipes for Coah Gary Warford at Paris. She earned many accolades including All District, Honorable Mention All Region, and was ranked 15th in the state of Kentucky for shutouts her senior season. Lauren also set the school record for shutouts in a season with 221 in her sophomore campaign.

Coach Paul Patton was happy to sign Lauren and noted, "I think SCC will be a good fit for Lauren, she will be able to study Health Science, play soccer, and she likes the campus and the people. Lauren is a quality player, and I expect she will help round out our group of goalkeepers and they will push each other to improve and grow as players."
