Women's Soccer Adds North Hardin Duo

Wednesday, June 3 - Patriot Soccer Coach, Paul Patton, announced that Amber King and Dani Clark have signed NAIA letters of intent to play their collegiate soccer at St. Catharine College. Both players were standouts for the North Hardin High School soccer program.

Amber played midfield for Coach Hayley Yourous at North Hardin. She was named "Most Versatile for JV" in 2005, "Best Midfielder for JV" in 2006, and All District in 2008. She is presently undecided on a major.

Dani played defender at North Hardin. She was named "Most Versatile", earned the "110%" award, and was named Honorable Mention All District as well as Second Team All District during her high school career. Dani also plans to play softball at St. Catharine. She is undecided as a major.

Both players stated they were excited about joining the St. Catharine Soccer program. It was also special that they were able to sign together as they have lived down the street from each other and been friends throughout school. Coach Patton was pleased to have both players, stating, "We are almost finished recruiting for the fall, and the addition of Dani and Amber puts an exclamation point on our incoming class! Both of these young ladies are solid, versatile players that will improve and grow as our team improves and grows. I look forward to coaching both of them and I think they will make a big contribution to our success in the years to come."
