Bishop Picks St. Catharine

Monday, March 29, 2010 - St. Catharine College Women's Soccer Coach Paul Patton announced the signing of another quality recruit today, adding to an already outstanding recruiting class for 2010. "Today is a good day for our program," remarked Patton. "Adrienne Bishop will be a solid player for us. She will make a good incoming class that much better, and I think she will be successful both as a student and a soccer player at St. Catharine."

Bishop, surrounded by her family, signed her scholarship contract in a signing ceremony in the North Oldham High School library after classes today. Adrienne played outside midfielder for Coach Ann Revell's North Oldham High School Mustangs squad where she earned the Coaches Award, the Son Cup Award, and was named Honorable Mention All District 16 in 2009. The Mustangs finished as the 16th District Runner-Up and the 8th Region Runner-Up with a record of 16-4-3 in 2009. She also played for Coach Brian Jones' Javanon club team.

Adrienne was a member of the Beta Club at North Oldham, has earned an Academic Scholarship at St. Catharine in addition to her Soccer Scholarship, and plans to study Accounting and Business in college.
