Women's Soccer Honors First Ever Senior Class

Wednesday, November 4 - Today, at the home match versus Georgetown, the Women's Soccer team honored it's first ever senior class. This group of seniors came to St. Catharine while we were still competing in the Junior College ranks, and stayed through the transition to NAIA. They will always be remember as the first Senior Class.

Nicole Emberg #14 Def / Mid Business Major Shepherdsville, KY
Nicole has maintained above a 3.0 GPA for her college career while studying full time, playing on the soccer team, and working part time her entire college career. Her favorite memories of SCC Soccer are making funnel cakes with teammates, crazy van rides to games, having to be restrained from hitting an opponent by the smallest girl on our team, and winning the NJCAA Region 7 Championship and going to Florida for Districts in 2007. Her future plans include getting a great job and getting married in August 2010. She says, “Good Luck next year, Girls!”
Danielle Mistler #3 Defender Pharmacy Major Harrison, OH

Danielle has earned an Associate Degree in Applied Science with a Certificate in Pharmacy and is currently working on an Associate Degree in Computer Science. She has been voted Most Valuable Player on the SCC Soccer team by her teammates in 2006, 2007, and 2008. She has also been voted Captain by her teammates in 2007, 2008, and 2009. Her favorite memory of SCC Soccer is getting to go to Florida after beating Hiwassee for the NJCAA Region 7 Championship in 2007 and every time she gets to step on the field and play.
