Tuesday, November 10, 2009 - Independence High School standout Mallory Arneson signed an NAIA letter of intent to play her college soccer at St. Catharine College today. Arneson, who was named Freshman MVP, placed 8th on the all time scoring list at Independence HS, and was a Senior Captain this year played Center Mid, Outside Mid, and Forward for Coach David Cordero DeJesus. She was also a standout for Coach Rico Laise's Harpeth Futbol Club team. She plans to study Marketing at St. Catharine.

"I am confident that the SCC Women's Soccer team got better today," stated SCC Coach Paul Patton. "Mallory will be an impact player for us as a freshman. I am excited about her future with our team, and the team's future. Our 2009 class was very strong, and our 2010 class is shaping up to be even better. We are a young team, but with quality student-athletes like Mallory, we will continue to improve."
