Scc Signs Castillo To Play Soccer, Run Track

Tuesday, June 1, 2010 - Sarah Castillo signed NAIA letters of intent for both soccer and track with St. Catharine College in a ceremony at the North Hardin High School library today. Castillo has been a standout soccer player at North Hardin, earning Sophomore of the Year accolades, winning the Best Offensive Player award, setting the school record for most goals in a career at 53, and being named First Team all District. Sarah also competes in the high jump and the 100 meter hurdles on the NHHS track team. Sarah also earned accolades in the class room, with a perrenial spot on the honor role and graduating with Honors.

"Sarah is an outstanding soccer player and will have an opportunity to contribute right away in our program," commented Patriot Women's Soccer Coach Paul Patton. "And the chance to continue her track career at St. Catharine is a great opportunity for her as well."
