Male High School Standout Signs With Patriots

Wednesday, February 2, 2011 - Male High School Women's Soccer standout, Morgan Ludwig chose the St. Catharine College Patriots as her college team.  Flanked by her parents, Richard and Stephanie Ludwig, she signed an NAIA Scholarship Contract in the Male High School Allumni room this afternoon. 

Morgan played defense for Coach Nikki Schultz's Bulldogs team the past four years while serving as Captain her senior year.  She also earned accolades as Most Valuable Player in 2007 and the 110% Award in 2009.  Morgan also has been the Captain of Coach Steve Cunningham's Javanon club team from 2008 through 2011.  Morgan plans to study Nursing at St. Catharine with the ultimate goal of a Masters Degree in Nursing.

St. Catharine Coach Paul Patton remarked after the ceremony, "I am very excited that Morgan is joining us.  She is a standout player and a leader on the field.  I think she will make an immediate positive impact on our team.  Today is a great day to be a Patriot!"
