Coach Smith Receives Her 100th Win

Head Coach, Holly Smith received her 100th win with her split against the University of Virginia at Wise, Saturday afternoon. Smith was lucky enough to meet this triumph on her home field infront of her friends, family, and all of her supporters.

Smith is in her 7th season as the Head Softball Coach for the Lady Patriots Softball Program at St. Catharine College.

Smith, a 2003 graduate of Lindsey Wilson College, began her coaching career as a Student Assistant, then becoming an Assistant Coach for one year before taking on the position at St. Catharine College and has productively lead the program since.

Last season, the Lady Patriots finished fourth in the hard-hitting and very competitive Mid-South Conference, their first year eligible for post-season play. The Lady Patriots had 1 All Mid-South Conference selection as well as 1 player named to the MSC Academic All-Conference team.

In 2009, the Lady Patriots first year as a four year program, they won the USCAA National Championship.
