Patriots sign Chelsea Wichman from Cascade High School

Monday, December 19 - St. Catharine College Volleyball Coach Adam Stevenson signed Chelsea Wichman for the class of 2012 from Cascade High School today. Chelsea signed a NAIA letter of intent to officially join the SCC volleyball program in a ceremony at her school.

Chelsea played Setter for Cascade HS and Circle City Volleyball Club.  She was honored to be named to the all-conference team 3 times, made the Indy Star Super Team twice and won the conference tournament 3 times and sectional tournament once.  While in High School she was in the NHS, FBCA and helped with several community service projects.

Chelsea plans to major in Business Management and Sports Leadership at SCC.

Cascade HS Coach DeVault said, "Chelsea will be a great asset to the St. Catharine volleyball program.  She has made huge strides as a setter at Cascade and will continue to do so at St. Catharine.  She will be missed and I look forward to see her succeed in volleyball at the colligate level."
