Paducah Tilghman standout is sixth recruit to sign for 2012.

Zomi Dickson official joined the St. Catharine Women's Soccer team by signing her NAIA Scholarship Contract at Paducah Tilghman High School yesterday.

Dickson, a midfielder and forward for Vaden Fenton's Paducah Tilghman Lady Tornado squad, was named Offensive Player of the Year in 2009 and 2011 as well as being Team Captain in 2011.  Zomi is also a standout academically.  She is a member of Beta Club, the Honor Roll, the Recycling Club, and she earned All District recognition for CATS testing scores.  She plans to study Nursing at St. Catharine.

Tilghman Assistant Girl's Soccer Coach Mark Thompson, on hand for the ceremony stated, “Zomi is a player that younger players have looked up to. She has shown leadership qualities at both the junior varsity and varsity levels.  She has speed and strength. These will be keys to her future success.”

Patriot Coach Paul Patton echoed those sentiments, "We did a soccer camp here this past summer.  We met Zomi there and were impressed with her. She has high level skills; she is tenacious and has a passion for the game. She will definitely get an opportunity to showcase her skills next season.”
