North Bullitt Goalkeeper Joins Women's Soccer

Samantha Curtsinger joined the St. Catharine College Women's Soccer team by signing her NAIA Scholarship Contract in the Library of North Bullitt High School yesterday.

Curtsinger, a goalkeeper for Coach Ryan Bringhurst's North Bullitt Squad, was named Best Defender by her teammates for the 2009 campaign.  She plans to study Radiography at St. Catharine and commented, "I would like to graduate with hopefully, all A's and B's and make muy Mom proud."

Patriot Coach Paul Patton, who first saw Samantha playing indoor soccer at Mockingbird Valley Soccer Club in Louisville, commented, "We had a goalkeeper graduate this year, so Samantha fills a need.  She has a great attitude, she is coachable, and she will work hard to improve and contribute at the next level.  I am happy that she took the opportunity to join us at St. Catharine."
