Patriots sign Madeline Schroder from Harrison County High School

Thursday, January 26 - St. Catharine College Volleyball Coach Adam Stevenson signed Madeline Schroder for the class of 2012 from Harrison County High School today.  Madeline signed a NAIA letter of intent to officially join the SCC volleyball program in a ceremony at her school.

Madeline played OH for Harrison County HS and Lexington United Volleyball Club.  She was honored to be named to the All-district and All-regional team two times.  She also led her high school team in kills, blocks, and serving percentage this past season.  While in high school she was involved in Pep club and the Raven Society.

Her high school coach said, "Madeline is a great player who has the work ethic to truly reach her full potential.  She will be a great player from St. Catharine and will truly be missed next year at Harrison County."

Coach Stevenson added, "Madeline is another great addition to another large recruiting class at SCC.  She is the type of player who could play anywhere and everywhere in the front row.  Her potential is truly unlimited and we are excited to see how quickly she will develop to playing at a higher level in college."
