McKayla Pugh to Play Soccer

John Hardin forward signs with Patriots

McKayla Pugh, from John Hardin High School signed to play Women's Soccer with St. Catharine College today.

McKayla, the daughter of Thomas and Peggy Pugh, has played both forward and defense for John Hardin Coach Brittany Carter's Bulldogs the last several years.  During her tenure on the team, she has earned the 110% Bulldog Effort award as well as being named Most Improved Player.  McKayla also plays for the Athletico Flames Soccer Club in the spring for Coach James Mason.

In addition to her dedication to soccer, McKayla is dedicated to her studies.  She is a member of the John Hardin Honor Roll and has earned the Citizenship Award.  She plans to study Health Sciences at St. Catharine.

"McKayla will be a great addition to our squad," remarked Patriot Coach Paul Patton at the signing.  "She works hard, has size and athleticism, truly loves the game, and has a great attitude.  I am looking forward to having McKayla in our program this fall!"
