Kaylynn Dill, a four sport star at Bellevue High School signed an NAIA Scholarship Contract to officially join the St. Catharine College Women's Soccer team yesterday in the school library.
Kaylynn, a defender, was a standout member of the Bellevue Girl's Soccer squad in addition to playing three other sports. She was a starting forward for the Girl's Basketball team, played on the Softball team, and competed as a place-kicker and punter for the Football team. Despite her success in so many different sports, Kaylynn will only be competing in Soccer and Basketball at the collegiate level. The St. Catharine Basketball team contacted her initially, and during a campus visit, Kaylynn learned that St. Catharine offered Women's Soccer as well. A phone call to the Soccer Coaches got the ball rolling, and now she will be competing on the field and in the gym this fall.
Patriot Coach Paul Patton noted, "I am excited to be signing Kaylynn today. She is an outstanding athlete, a good student, and I believe she will represent St. Catharine Soccer well. I am excited to see how she will grow in the game when she narrows her focus. Kaylynn is a strong addition to our 2012 recruiting class."
Kaylynn is the daughter of Brian and Denise Dill of Bellevue, Kentucky. She is currently undecided on an area of study.
