The Patriot coaching staff has been busy this summer adding player's to the already impressive roster. They have gained three more transfers, two from the west coast and another from north of the border.
"We are excited about what we've signed to go with the core we have returning," noted Luther Bramblett. "We have addressed several needs and feel that the competition level will be great this fall."
Infielder, Francisco Gonzales (San Diego, CA), played at Southwestern College, where former Bat Pat Juan Moriel played. Gonzalez fielded .954 while being the everyday shortstop for the Jaguar's. He batted .319 with 21 runs and 20 RBI's while in the two hole. He only struck out 10 times in over 150 plate appearances.
