In its second year of existence the St. Catharine College swim team has a new coach. That became effective two months ago when Lindsey Pfoff took over the Patriot program, replacing Mike Carey.
Pfoff is a 2007 graduate of Russell County High School where she swam for the Lakers and also was assistant coach there since graduating. She attended Asbury University where she swam mostly the 100 and 200 meter butterfly. Following her college swimming career she has coached both the East Jessamine and West Jessamine High School teams which she will continue to do this season.
“It will help in recruiting in that I can see a lot of swimmers in the high school meets,” said Pfoff. “So far the swimmers we have at St. Catharine have been working hard in practice to get ready for the first meet.”
That first meet will come on October 6th when the patriots travel to Campbellsville University for a meet against the host Tigers and Bethany College.
