LOUISVILLE, Ky. -- Three Mid-South Conference teams earned a mention in the NAIA Softball Coaches' Preseason Top-25 Poll, released on Tuesday by NAIA officials.
Lindsey Wilson College is the lone ranked team from the MSC as the Blue Raiders received 287 voting points from the national raters to open the season at No. 15.
The Blue Raiders finished 47-13 a season ago and reached the NAIA National Tournament before falling in pool play.
Campbellsville University and Georgetown College each received voting points but sit outside the Top-25.
Campbellsville picked up 36 voting points and is the seventh of 18 teams outside the Top-25 but receiving votes while Georgetown garnered three voting points from the national raters.
The poll was voted upon by a panel of head coaches representing each of the conferences, independent and unaffiliated groupings. The first regular-season Top-25 poll is scheduled to be announced on March 19, 2013.
