FLYING HIGH AGAIN

The St. Catharine Patriots took to the road to face the Cincinnati Christian University Eagles under the lights.

With the season winding down the Patriots were looking for a victory as they traveled to the Queen’s City to face a fierce Eagles squad. With the lights on and the temperatures down the St. Catharine Patriots found ways to score in bunches. Leading the Patriots with two goals was the Fighting Englishman Ashley Woods, from his three shots on goal. Along with Woods came a trio of goals from Joe Jessop, Marvin Wesselburg, and Sawyer Abshire. As the Patriot’s offense pounded the net sophomore keeper Brandon Campbell was making the most of his start, holding the Eagles to only two goals from their five shots.

The Patriots will hit the field again in conference action against Campbellsville, Tuesday at the Barber Soccer Complex.
