Elizabeth Satterfield is the newest Soccer signee for the Patriot Women's Soccer program. Satterfield signed on Friday morning at Corydon Central High School.
Elizabeth played defender for Coach Kyle Jones at Corydon Central High School in Indiana. Last season Corydon Central had one of their best years ever as they made it to the Sectional Semi-Finals before falling to perennial power Providence High School. During her high school career, Elizabeth earned awards for 'Best Sportmanship' and 'Best Defender'. She was also named Captain of the team her senior year and made the All-Conference Team. In addition to her outstanding high school career, she has also played club soccer with United 1996 FC out of Louisville.
"We are excited to sign Elizabeth," commented Patriot Coach Paul Patton. "She is a strong player and I believe she has a big upside. She has a great attitude, a strong work ethic, and she plays the game with good sportsmanship. I am positive she will be a good representative for our program."
Elizabeth plans to study Radiography while at St. Catharine, with a goal of doing well in the classroom and out on the field.
