Michaela Sebastian is the lastest and final signee for the Patriot Women's Soccer 2014 recruiting class. Sebastian, an outside midfielder from Lincoln County High School made it official today when she signed her NAIA Scholarship Contract surrounded by family and friends.
Michaela was a standout player for Coach Andrew Kaiser's Lady Patriots squad at Lincoln County. She was named Honorable Mention All-Region 12 in 2012 and 2013 and earned the team award for Outstanding Midfielder as a senior in 2013. She played club soccer for the Kentucky Rush this spring and has also played for CKSC in previous years.
"I am excited that Michaela is joining us. Lincoln County has had a strong team the last several years, and Michaela has been a big part of that," noted St. Catharine Head Coach, Paul Patton. "I think Michaela will adjust her game to the college level quickly and will represent St. Catharine well. She is a great addition to finish off a strong recruiting class!"
Michaela plans to study Psychology at St. Catharine, with a goal of becoming a social worker after graduation.
