The Patriots have been receiving votes for the NAIA top 25 for the last month. St. Catharine (26-9, 11-3 MSC) enters this weeks poll just outside the top 25, with 49 points by the raters, at #28. All marks are program highs.
"It's good for our guys," stated Luther Bramblett. "To know that their hard work is paying off and that they've been recognized for winning games. But, we've got a lot of games left -- against quality opponents, programs that have been in the top 25 this year."
The Patriots are 11-3 in the Mid-South Conference, which puts them in first place. Campbellsville is 10-4 and Lindsey Wilson is 9-5 are behind the Patriots after the trio have been tied for the last month. SC plays at Lindsey Wilson this week and Campbellsville hosts Cumberland University.
"Lindsey Wilson is a great club and are extremely tough to beat at their place," noted Bramblett. "We'll have our hands full and will have to play very good baseball just to keep up with them and give ourselves a shot."
