Keera Sidney is the latest soccer player to join the Patriot Women's Soccer 2015 recruiting class. Keera, who goes by Keke, made it official when she signed in front of family and friends in her high school library this afternoon.
Keke has been a standout player for Coach Tom Morgan at Paul Lawrence Dunbar High School in Lexington, Kentucky. She played mostly on the outside midfield and has won numerous awards in her time with the program. She was named Rookie of the Year as a freshman and won the 110% award in 2013. She also earned Most Valuable Player honors as a senior for a Dunbar team that won the 11th Region championship and made it to the round of 16 in the state tournament. Keke has also played soccer for Commonwealth Soccer Club during the spring season.
Patriot Coach Patton commented, "Keke is a great young lady and a strong soccer player. I am very happy that she has chosen to join us at St. Catharine. I am sure that she will help us on the field and represent the team and school well off the field."
Keke says she will "work hard at everything I achieve" in college and plans to study Biology at St. Catharine.
