2015 Daktronics-NAIA Men’s Golf Scholar-Athletes – PDF
St. Catharine, Ky. – The National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics (NAIA) announced Thursday that 165 men’s golf student-athletes have been named 2015 Daktronics-NAIA Scholar-Athletes.
In order to be nominated by an institution’s head coach or sports information director, a student-athlete must maintain a minimum grade point average of 3.5 on a 4.0 scale and must have achieved a junior academic status.
Five members from the St. Catharine College men’s golf team were named to the list: Matt Bloom, Michael Hardin, Travis Smith, Aaron Spalding and Chase Spalding.
Matt Bloom and Michael Hardin are receiving their second annual Scholar-Athlete award, while Travis Smith, Aaron Spalding and Chase Spalding earn their first Scholar-Athlete honor of their career.
