Columbia, Ky. – Senior outside hitter, Rebecca Just was named the Mid-South Conference Volleyball Attacker of the Week, the conference office announced on Monday.
The Louisville, Ky. native was named Attacker of the Week for the second time this season and the season time in her career. Just posted a pair of double-doubles last week helping the Patriots to a perfect 2-0 record on the week.
In the two wins last week, she averaged four kills per set and a .431 attacking percentage in wins over Kentucky State and Campbellsville (Ky.)
In her first game of the week, she posted 13 kills and 10 digs in a 3-0 sweep of Kentucky State. She followed that up with 16 kills and 20 digs for her 12th double-double of the season in a 3-1 victory over Mid-South Conference rival Campbellsville.
Just ranks fourth in the Mid-South Conference with a .308 hitting percentage. She in tied for fourth in the MSC with 3.5 kills per set. Her 284 kills on the season ranks second in the Mid-South and 16th in the NAIA.
St. Catharine improves to 16-7 overall and 5-4 in conference play after the 2-0 record. They return to action tomorrow night against Mid-South Conference foe Cumberlands (Ky.) with first serve set for 7 p.m. ET.
