The Fall Talent Show Series came down to the final game with the Gold Team coming away Champions. Both teams split the DH to even the series 2-2 and Team Gold won the 3 inning winner take all international rule game 5.

Gold 7 - Black 3 (8 innings)

In the opener, Team Gold plated 4 runs in the top of the 8th inning to blow open a tie game. Peyton Johnson (Louisville, KY) picked up the win after tossing 1.1 innings. He allowed a run on 2 hits. Austin Willis-Greene (Manhattan, NY) tossed a scoreless 8th the seal the win. Starter Marcos Martinez (Pico Rivera, Calif.) took the no decision after tossing 5.2 innings. He allowed 2 runs on 3 hits.

Cody Houk (Greensburg, KY) led Team Gold by going 2-4 with a triple, 2 RBI's and 2 runs. Oscar Heredia (Tao Baja, PR) went 2-5 with 2 runs and a double. Drew Kissel (Jeffersonville, IN) doubled and Colston Hyde (Trenton, KY) added 2 RBI's.

For Team Black, Daniel Lerma (Oxnard, Calif.) started in the no decision. He went 6 innings, allowing 3 runs on 6 hits. Trenton Parrett (Glendale, KY) suffered the loss, tossing 1.2 innings and allowing 4 runs on 2 hits. Carlos Cespedes (Santo Domingo, DR) went 2-3 with a run and a double. Chance Bodine (Bardstown, KY) doubled home a run and Tyler Devine (Harrodsburg, KY) doubled and scored a run.

Black  9 - Gold 6

Team Black answered back with a 15 hit attack to even the series. Evan Smith (Jacksonville, FL) led the way, going 3-5 with 4 RBI's and a homerun. Josh Wenning (Palmyra, IN) went 3-3 with a run and 3 RBI's. Tyler Devine went 2-4 with a double and RBI and Koy Lindsey (Hodgenville, KY) added a 2-4 game.

James Davenport (Louisville, KY) picked up the win, hurling 5 innings. He allowed 4 runs (2 earned) on 3 hits. He tallied 6 punch outs. Nathan Getzin (Louisville, KY) picked up the save, tossing 1.2 innings. He allowed a run on 2 hits.

Team Gold starter Austin Willis-Greene suffered the loss after going 1.1 innings. He allowed 3 runs on 4 hits. Dylan Manley (Frankfort, KY) tossed 2 innings, allowing 3 runs on 4 hits. Derek Jones (Mt. Washington, KY) went 2.1 innings, allowing 2 runs on 5 hits. Alex Knowles (Huntington Beach, Calif.) tossed 1 inning and got out of a bases loaded - no out jam.

Cody Houk again led the Gold Team, going 2-4 with a double and 2 RBI's. Joe Lynch (Lexington, KY) went 1-1 with a double and 3 runs scored. Reid Battles (Denton, TX) had a solo homerun.

Gold 7 - Black 3 (International Rule, 3 innings)

With the sun setting, the Championship game went to a 3 inning, International Rule contest. Each half inning started with a runner at 2nd and one out. Team Gold took advantage of its opportunities, plating 4 runs in the top of the 3rd inning to take the 'ship. Conner Lindsay (Nicholasville, KY) took the win, allowing 3 runs in 3 innings on 3 hits. Nathan Getzin suffered the loss.

Santiago Arce (Chula Vista, Calif.) led the Gold squad, going 2-2 with a double, a run and 2 RBI's. Oscar Heredia added a 1-1 game with 2 RBI's and 2 runs. Reid Battles added a RBI double.

For the Black squad, Steven Husband (Louisville, KY) had a 2 RBI single while Chance Bodine and Josh Wenning both added a singles.

With the fall coming to an end, Team Black will perform a Talent Show for the winning team and whoever else decides to show up. A date and time will be announced at a later date.
