Columbia, Ky. -- St. Catharine men’s soccer sophomore, Bradley Wilson was named the Mid-South Conference Men’s Soccer Offensive Player of the Week, the conference office announced on Monday.
This is the first weekly MSC player of the week honor in Wilson’s career.
In a pair of Patriot victories last week, Wilson recorded three goals and a pair of assists in wins over Brescia (Ky.) and Pikeville (Ky.).
In his first match of the week, the Doncaster, England native tallied two goals and chipped in with an assist in the Patriots 8-2 win over Brescia. He followed that up with a goal and an assists in a 5-0 shutout of Pikeville.
Wilson’s goal against the Bears would prove to be the game winner giving him seven for the season. Currently, Wilson is leading the nation in game-winning goals with seven.
St. Catharine now moves to 10-7 overall on the season and a 3-4 record in their MSC slate. Wilson and his teammates will return to the pitch tonight when they travel to Asbury (Ky.) tonight at 7 p.m. ET.
