St. Catharine, Ky. – The National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics (NAIA) announced on Friday afternoon that 382 men’s soccer student-athletes were named 2015 Daktronics-NAIA Scholar-Athletes.
The lone Patriot men’s soccer player to make the list was Marvin Wesselburg. The Essen, Germany native picks up his second-straight scholar-athlete honors. The senior is currently majoring in management and has posted a perfect 4.0 cumulative GPA.
In order to be nominated by an institution’s head coach or sports information director, a student-athlete must maintain a minimum grade point average of 3.5 on a 4.0 scale and must have achieved a junior academic status.
Baker (Kan.) led the NAIA after 11 student-athletes that were named to the list. To view the complete list of student-athletes that made the list click here.
