St. Catharine, Ky. – Due to the projected weather conditions that will be moving into central Kentucky on early Friday morning and into Saturday afternoon, the Patriot wrestling team has been forced to change their schedule.
The Patriots were scheduled to travel to Lebanon, Tenn. to tangle with Mid-South Conference foe Cumberland (Tenn.) on Friday, but due to the weather projected in the middle Tennessee area the two schools were forced to reschedule for a later date.
Cumberland and St. Catharine will instead wrestle on Saturday, February 13th, at St. Catharine in Lourdes Hall at 6 p.m. ET. The match will take place a week before the NAIA East Region Qualifier in Marietta, Ga.
St. Catharine was also scheduled to head south on Saturday to Walnut Ridge, Ark. to wrestle Central Baptist (Ark.) and Williams Baptist (Ark.). They have now canceled that event and won’t be rescheduled.
Due to the cancelations in the schedule, head coach Spencer Adams has picked up another tournament. The Patriot Grapplers will now wrestle in the Cumberland Open on Saturday, January 30th, in Lebanon, Tenn. with the tournament beginning at 10 a.m. ET.
