Hailey Conine, a standout forward from Leslie, Michigan, became the latest recruit to sign on for the Patriot Women's Soccer 2016 class today. Surrounded by her family, coaches, and teammates; Hailey made it official in a signing ceremony at Leslie High School.
Hailey played mainly forward the last four years for Leslie, earning All-Region and States-Team honors. She has been the leading scorer for the Blackhawks girls soccer team and participated in Varsity Basketball as well. Hailey played club soccer for Midwest United and the Michigan Chill in recent years, leading those teams in scoring during her junior and senior seasons, respectively. In addition to those clubs, she has also guest played for the Michigan Hawks.
"Hailey is an outstanding soccer player and we are excited to sign her today," noted Patriot Coach Paul Patton. "Hailey is our first-ever signee from Michigan and I am glad to say that we got a great player and a great person that will help us improve and the field and will represent St. Catharine well."
Hailey plans to study agriculture in the Berry Farming and Ecological Agrarianism program while at St. Catharine.
