Head Coach Holly Smith's comments after the victories: " I am very excited at the fact that my ladies are putting the bat on the ball and making the defense make plays. We have to be a hitting team to compete in the Mid-South Conference and games like these two, were we scored 18 runs on the day, means we were putting the bat on the ball the way I expect my players too. Two great wins going into our first conference games tomorrow."
