Head Coach Holly Smith's comments after the game: "I am extremely excited about these two wins. All day today our hits were very spratic, we would get one hit here and one hit there. I am very proud of my two freshmen Mills and Prather, who got their first collegiate homeruns today. We did a good job of finding hits when we needed them. Our defense has been pretty solid throughout the season including the glove of Hayes behind the plate. She has really lead our pitchers and I love how her confidence and her ability has grown. This is an excellent start to conference play."
