In the first half, the Pomeroys held most of the possession and had several dangerous shots on goal. 36 minutes into the game, a dangerous ball played across the box was scooped up by SCC goalkeeper, Sigourney Lundy. In the 44th minute, an SCC shot by Sara Funk rebounded into the box to Haley Reed, who smartly slotted it home into the upper corner for a 1-0 SCC lead at half time.
The second have was just as hard fought as the first half. Sigourney Lundy returned to the goal and the Pomeroys attacked the SCC goal for most of the first 10 minutes of the half. In the 50th minute, Pomeroy Arrika Garcia crossed the ball to Erin Pugh, who finished off the shot to even the score at one. The rest of the half was a see-saw battle that saw several dangerous plays by both teams, but no scoring. The final was St. Mary of the Woods 1 - St. Catharine College 1.
