New Albany High School senior, Tabbitha Shirley, signed with St. Catharine College to play soccer on Tuesday. Tabbitha played forward, midfield, and goalkeeper for Coach Sara Dickman at New Albany High School in Indiana. She was named Most Improved Player as a freshman, won the team sportsmanship award her junior and senior seasons, and was voted as Captain by her teammates as a senior.
"Tabbitha will be a big asset to our team due to her versatility," remarked St. Catharine Coach Paul Patton. "She can literally play any position on the field. Plus, she is a strong student. I think she will thrive at St. Catharine." Tabbitha plans to study Psychology in addition to playing soccer at St. Catharine.
