At Union, a 2-1 game in the fourth jumped to a 13-1 loss in a hurry as the Patriots lost their command on the mound and kicked the ball around. 7 walks, a hit batter and 4 Patriot errors and timely Bulldog hitting led to the first loss on the season. At the plate, the Patriots had eight hits with junior Chris Smith leading the way with a 3-4 day and the only Patriot RBI. Junior Justin Witt added a double for the only extra base hit.

At Campbellsville, the Patriot command and defense aided the hot hitting Tigers to a 11-4 loss. The Patriot arms walked or hit 9 CU players on the day to go with a Tiger offense that had 16 hits. The SCC defense also misplayed 3 batted balls.
